NAME: Togatta traditional Japanese kokeshi

CONDITION: Few minor dents on the back of the head.
NOTES: Mr. Sato passed in 1988 at the age of 69 years. This doll was made when the artist was 57 years old, which would be approx. 1976. Oddly, written in pencil is a date of 12/3/2002 on the bottom.
This doll may be of the character Otafuku who is always depicted with large rosy cheeks and two dots on her forehead. The makeup dots indicate nobility.
