NOTES: Just as kokeshi craftsmen, this trade is handed down from generation to generation.
This toy won the Minister of Education Award at the 28th All-Japan Kokeshi Contest in 1986. When pulled, his head turns around and each arm moves up and down banging on the drum in turn.
