NAME: Togatta traditional Japanese kokeshi

SIZE: 14-1/4" (36.2cm)

CONDITION: The face has a large dent under the right eye and various other smaller dents, dings. The dark spots are areas that received some kind of hit and the varnish was removed leaving the wood exposed to darken faster than the rest of the doll.

The rest of the head as well as the body has a variety of dents and dings, mostly small. Small water spot on the obi. The wood is darkening further, from the top of the head down and the bottom of the head up.

NOTES: Mr. Agatsuma was born in 1933.
