NAME: Sakunami traditional Japanese kokeshi rattle

MAKER: Sadayoshi Hiraga

SIZE: 12-1/8" (30.6cm)

CONDITION: A few small dents and a light scratch on the right side of the head. A lot of wood age spots. These spots eventually cover the whole doll. This is one of the ways the dolls darken.

NOTES: Dated April 19, 1979. It sounds like there is only one item in the head, and I'm not sure it's a bean.
