NAME: Narugo traditional Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Takao Ozawa

SIZE: 11-7/8"

CONDITION: Mostly minor dents, scratches and dings. A little larger one under the mouth and toward the neck and several large, but shallow, dents at the back base of the body. Heavy coat of wax on the back of the head had a lot of scratches, allowing exposure and aging of the wood. Some color fading, more on the left side.

NOTES: Date of May 24, 1975 on the bottom.
