CONDITION: The two middle flowers have some red paint blurring or running. It probably wouldn't be much noticed but for the fact that it's been pointed out. Other than that, it's in excellent condition.
NOTES: Nodder style head. Mr. Sato is one of the few "cross over" kokeshi makers, probably trained in both Narugo and Nanbu. I have had traditional Narugo and Nanbu kokeshi by Mr. Sato. This one is a mix. The nodder style and body shape is that of a Nanbu, the head design is very Narugo.
