NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Usaburo Okamoto

SIZE: 8-3/4" (22.3cm)

CONDITION: Light scratches on the bangs, a large ding on the right side of the head and a few small dents on the body.

NOTES: Usaburo is the family business name. This was made by Usaburo Okamoto, who worked more with natural woods in the earlier years. He was the master and patriarch until he passed in 2009 at the age of 91.
