CONDITION: Various small dents and scratches including a couple on her bangs.

NOTES: Usaburo is the family business name. This was made by Usaburo Okamoto, who was the master and patriarch until he passed in 2009 at the age of 91.

This is yet another version of the Winter Camelia doll. I think this is made fully of dogwood. The name of the doll is Kantsubaki (寒椿) or literally translated means "cold camellia" (Winter camellia?). The design was done by the burnt wood technique.

There are two dolls available. The second doll is a fraction shorter with a weight of 1lb-12.2oz. Will upload pictures of the second doll (#73076) at the appropriate time.
