NAME: Modern creative Japanese "kokeshi" by well known modern doll artist. (Actually carved instead of lathed). Signature board included.

MAKER: Toa Sekiguchi

SIZE: 11" (28cm)

CONDITION: Few smaller dents on the mid left leg and one on the right. The left ear was damaged in transit here. The tip with a thin layer of wood in front was broken off. It repaired cleanly and can barely be seen. It's difficult to see the back side repair with the naked eye.

NOTES: Mr. Sekiguchi was born in 1942 and is a multi-aware winning kokeshi artist.

Extremely rare animal by a well known kokeshi artist. I may have seen a cat like this once in 10 years.
