CONDITION: Several, mostly small, dents and scratches. Wood age spots (darkening) on the back of the head and "shoulders"
NOTES: Mr. Sekiguchi was born in 1925 and is still busy creating his masterpieces. He is a multi-award winning artist which includes multiple prime minister awards. He is perhaps the most known kokeshi maker worldwide.
Lovely shaped doll. Very Sekiguchi face and bangs - older style. This is not a small doll. She weighs over 2 pounds.
