NOTES: Set of 4 dolls representing the four seasons. The design is done mostly burnt wood style with a little paint. Mr. Murikami was born in Yonezawa City in 1929. He originally studied oil painting and changed to kokeshi around 1946. He is a multi prize winning artist including the coveted Prime Minister Award.
