NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

CONDITION: Few small dents and light scratches.
There is a noticeable manufacture flaw - an excessive amount of varnish on the top of her head which "dripped" down to no further than 2", including on her face. The aging, discoloring excess varnish gives her face a slightly "off" color.
NOTES: Inosuke Kobayshi was born in 1931 and has passed. Multi prize winner including the coveted Prime Minister award in 1979. My information only goes to 1983.
The design is done by burnt wood.
