NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Izumi?*

SIZE: 13-1/4" (33.5cm), head diameter 5-7/8" (15cm), wt approx. 5.75 pounds

CONDITION: Mid-sized dent on the right side of the hair, a smaller one just above it and a few minor scratches. The head is a little loose but it doesn't come off.

NOTES: *The name on the bottom distinctly says いずみ which translates to Izumi but I have no information on her. It is not Oki though.

Lovely doll with fall leaves. The most of the work is done by burnt wood. The stripes on the kimono are painted.
