NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi
MAKER: Ryouka Aoki
SIZE: 6" (15.4cm)
CONDITION: Couple of small dents on the hair.
NOTES: Ms. Aoki was born in 1931. Her real given name is Toshiko. She started kokeshi crafting around 1958. She's a multi-prize winning artist.
The flower petals are carved. Unusual doll from Ms. Aoki or rather, I've not seen it before.
