NAME: Kijiyama traditional kokeshi

MAKER: Haruo Sasaki

SIZE: 9-7/8" (25.2cm)

CONDITION: Hairline crack across the top of the head and by the signature in back. Small irregularities in the wood, bottom right front, right shoulder, lower left and lower right head. Couple of minor dents.

NOTES: I received many of the same doll in different sizes. They were part of a collection in Japan. There are only signatures on several of the larger dolls. The only doll in the group made of a different wood (not keyaki). This is probably Mr. Sasaki's signature design although he also does the famous kite doll.
