NAME: Japanese Himeji three mountain float folkcraft on wheels, original box

SIZE: 4-1/4" high, approx. 7" long x 3"

CONDITION: Mint

NOTES: The mountains are made of paper mache, everything else is wood.

This represents a miniature parade float from Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. They call the float "Kosode Mountains". A folk craft/toy book states that these appear in a religious procession held every 21 years and that this folk craft is only sold during this festival.
