Suggestions for Antique Japanese Costume Dolls
Display:
- Keep doll out of the path of direct sunlight
- Keep moisture nearby the doll, especially in the winter heating season
- use a tea cup or small jar filled with cotton balls & water (if cased, place inside the case)
- Cedar or moth balls should be placed near dolls (not touching)
- if storing, store with cedar or moth balls
Cleaning:
- NEVER USE WATER!!!
- Try a pencil eraser in an inconspicuous spot
- Dust doll and clothing with a soft natural bristle brush
