Ejiko Yajiro Kokeshi
Sold
Japanese traditional kokeshi, Yajiro style ejiko made by craftsman Seikou Sato of Kijidokoro-Sato. An Ejiko represents a baby in basket. In years gone by, when all hands were needed in the fields, the babies would have to go too. They would be bundled up and placed in a basket for safe keeping. This ejiko measures about 3" high with a diameter of 2-3/4". The capped head is a "nodder" style, not unlike real babies. This item is NEW/mint. So precious!
