Creative Kokeshi Nature and Bark Pair

NAME: Vintage creative Japanese kokeshi pair with plants, flowers, leaves and some bark left intact.

SIZE: 4-1/2" (11.5cm). The male is a fraction shorter.

CONDITION: The male has a dent on his forehead. He has pieces of bark missing but the areas are all varnished so it was like that at the time of creation. The female has a few small pieces of bark missing, on her upper front and lower back, which were post manufacture flaws.

NOTES: Each doll was made from one piece of wood. The heads were lathed at the end of the branch. Another set of interestingly made dolls.
