Creative Kokeshi, Mochi Pounding

NAME: Japanese Creative kokeshi of two mochi pounders.

SIZE: Standing doll is 3", stand is 5" x 2-1/4"

CONDITION: Elastic, used to attach the arms, has stretched out with age. I was able to shorten it a bit which has allowed the arms a little movement.

NOTES: Pounding mochi (glutinous rice) is a tradition that occurs during the New Year's celebrations.
