NAME: Japanese creative kokeshi, 9 piece vegetables in basket
MAKER: Hiroe Fukushima
SIZE: Vegetables vary in size (daikon approx. 4" long, onion 2-1/8" diameter). Basket is oval, 9" x 7".
CONDITION: In good condition. May be some minor dents or scratches and light fading.
NOTES: Veggies include onion, cabbage, mushroom, kabocha (squash), carrot, eggplant, daikon (radish), sweet potato and a bamboo shoot.
Ms. Fukushima is well known for her vegetable creative kokeshi. Very hard to find. Two years ago, one lettuce head sold for $80.00 and a daikon (radish) and onion sold for $62.00 on another site.
