NAME: Cell phone strap (fob) with Japanese Zodiac ceramic dog charm, new old stock.
SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1", string or strap about 4-1/2" long. Two bells are attached.
CONDITION: Mint in bag
Made by Yakushigama, an old kiln in Seto City, known for it's animals, including maneki neko (beckoning cat) and the zodiac animals. Some are marked with a price of 472 yen, (equivalent to US $6.29 1/1/2012).
Straps for cell phones are very popular in Japan but can be attached to a camera, keys, anything. Not recommended for young children as it is ceramic and it has small parts.
