NAME: Cast bronze Japanese vase with iris, original wood box

MAKER: Signed on left side of vase as well as on the box with a maker's stamp. (Writing on the back which, I believe, states a commemoration of something).

SIZE: 9" (23cm) tall, 4-3/4" (12cm) diameter at widest point, and 2-3/4" (7cm) opening

CONDITION: Few tiny scratches and a ding on the lower front. Some old plant particles on the inside.

NOTES: The iris and signature is in sunken-relief style and painted. The writing on the back is added to the finished product.
