Yajiro Traditional Japanese Kokeshi, 6"

Japanese traditional Yajiro style kokeshi made and signed by craftperson Mikiko of Kijidokoro-Sato. Because of many other responsibilities, Mrs. Sato makes far fewer kokeshi than most. We are happy to have a few available in our catalog.

With brightly painted rokuro stripes, she measures approximate 6". As these are hand made, the size may vary a little. The base diameter is 1-1/4".

Special notation: All of the Kijidokoro-Sato dolls are NEW. However, many of the dolls in this shipment were damaged (dents, scratches, paint smears) during transit. Any damage will be so noted.

Also keep in mind that the dollar is at a record low against the yen. The difference is substantial. What cost $10 eight months ago will now cost $12.45.

CONDITION: All three dolls have multiple minor dents. Most of the dents will be hard to capture in a picture. They are not noticeable unless the light hits them just right. Prices have been adjusted accordingly.
