Japanese traditional Yajiro style kokeshi made by craftsperson Mikiko Sato of Kijidokoro-Sato. Because of many other responsibilities, Mrs. Sato makes far fewer kokeshi than most and they are bought up quickly. We are happy to have a few available in our catalog. This doll measures 9-1/2" high with a base diameter of 1-3/4" and the condition is NEW/mint. The style of this doll is the Makoto type (founder of Kijidokor-Sato). Another lovely doll!
