Yajiro Kokeshi, 10-3/4" - 2006 Prize Winner!

Japanese Traditional Yajiro style kokeshi made by craftsman and master Seikou Sato of Kijidokoro-Sato (date of birth 2/22/1947). It measures 10-3/4" tall, with a base diameter of 1-5/8" and a head diameter of 3-1/4". This beauty won the prize of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure & Transportation in the September 2006 National Kokeshi Competition, which is the 2nd top prize! It is NEW/mint condition. The same doll in a larger size is also available. One picture shows both dolls. This listing is the shorter of the two.
