Vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi (heads) sitting on a large waraji (straw sandal) with original box.
It's more of a decorative piece. One head is sitting on a nest of dried grass-like material. There are also some leaves, a real tree twig and a red ball. It can be hung or stood on the stand. Overall height is 8" tall x 3-1/2 wide. It's in good condition. The box is bent up and has corners split with one end of the lid missing.
