NAME: Vintage Japanese costume doll of a young girl with a hagoita (game paddle), original glass case & corrugated box

AGE: c1960

SIZE: Doll is 7-1/2" (19cm) tall. The case measures 10-3/4" x 7-1/4" x 6" (27.5 x 18.5cm x 15.5cm)

CONDITION: She has a little hair loss. Her left thumb was broken off and attached. Because of the position and small piece, it was hard to glue. A little paint may cover the crack but it is hidden under the paddle anyway. The mirror is quite marred with age.

NOTES: This is the first time I have seen a doll with a hagoita paddle which is decorated with flowers. Gofun finish. Flowers hand painted on the lower front case.
