Vintage Creative Kokeshi Pair on Stand

NAME: Vintage creative Japanese kokeshi pair on a stand, MIB. The mother or big sister has legs and is sitting. The child is by her side.

MAKER: Stamp on stand

SIZE: Sitting doll is 3-1/4" (8.4cm) & the child is 1-9/16" (4cm). The stand is 3-1/2" x 1-15/16"

CONDITION: This collection is basically mint in box. There may be some age related issues and will be so noted. Most of the boxes show their age and may be warped, torn or have split corners.

Spot on back of sitting doll's head which was caused by the acid in the box over the years.

NOTES: The owner of these fabulous vintage kokeshi had purchased them from all over Japan and then stored them in their original gift boxes for all these years (50's/60's). Great find with some unusual dolls!
