NAME: Vintage creative Japanese kokeshi pair, MIB
MAKER: Name of onsen is on the lower left side of the larger doll
SIZE: 3-3/4" (9.5cm) & 3" (7.5cm)
CONDITION: This collection is basically mint in box. There may be some age related issues and will be so noted. Most of the boxes show their age and may be warped, torn or have split corners.
Three short vertical indentations on the smaller doll's right side of the head. Guessing they are wood defects.
NOTES: The owner of these fabulous vintage kokeshi had purchased them from all over Japan and then stored them in their original gift boxes for all these years (50's/60's). Great find with some unusual dolls!
