NAME: Japanese wooden Daruma kokeshi
MAKER: Muchihide Abo, Tsugaru kokeshi family
SIZE: 5-1/2" (14.1cm), diameter 4-1/8" (10.4cm)
CONDITION: A few very minor dents. Three very small light spots on the right side which may or may not be water spots. There is no color run. There is also a natural wood flaw on the far left side of the face where the stain is a little irregular.
NOTES: Mr. Abo was born in 1950.
Large Daruma. One of the larger dolls I have had in inventory. He weighs just over 1-1/2 pounds.
