Rock Pair of Japanese "Kokeshi"

Pair of Japanese vintage "kokeshi" dolls made of rock or stones. They are two pieces each, a head and body and are hand painted. They stand approximately 1-1/4" tall and 2-1/4" long. In good condition.
These are pretty rare. Once in a great while I used to see a pair for sale but haven't seen one for some years now. Very clever and cute!
This set is part of a family collection of folk crafts from the 50's and 60's. The father traveled to all parts of Japan on business and would bring home souvenirs for the family.
