Primitive looking set of 3 Japanese folk craft figures. The tallest measures 3" and appears to be a human form. The middle figure is 2-3/8" tall and haven't a clue as to what it is. The smallest figure is 2" tall and looks like a monkey.

These are a part of a family collection of folk crafts from the 50's and 60's. The father traveled to all parts of Japan on business and would bring home souvenirs for the family. They are in good condition with some age appropriate staining/soiling. There is some Japanese kanji on the back and bottom of the human. May be artist signature and place of purchase???
