NAME: Large Japanese Ouchi wooden lacquerware vase, copper insert, original wood box

SIZE: 10-1/2" (26.7cm), diameter at widest point 9-1/2" (24cm), the copper insert measures 7-3/4" (19.5cm) long with a 3-1/2" (9cm) diameter at the top rim, including a narrow lip.

CONDITION: In excellent, unused condition. The copper insert shows a little corrosion from age. The wooden box is in very poor condition. It has been taped quite a bit and there are many other untaped cracks. The lid is almost cracked in two. Can ship without the box if requested.

The beautiful Ouchi pattern is painted twice on the vase. The bottom of the vase was made with a hole through it. Although this is a large size vase, keep in mind that the insert is rather narrow.
