NAME: Ouchi Japanese lacquerware wood bowl, original gift box

SIZE: 9-1/2" (24.5cm) diameter, 1-7/8" (4.7cm) tall

CONDITION: Unused. There are two tiny spots, on an inside ridge on the outside of the bowl where the finish is missing. Might be a scratch or could be a manufacture flaw. The paper bag the bowl is stored in has spots from age?

Absolutely gorgeous bowl. The inside has the famous Ouchi artwork. The top rim and outside were finished with a clear lacquer which allows the beauty of the wood to show.
