NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi pair

MAKER: Usaburo

SIZE: 2-1/8" (5.5cm), diameter 2-3/4" (7.3cm)

CONDITION: The green doll has a few minor dents and a small spot on the right side that looks like it was wood filled. The red doll has a few small dents and a larger dent on the upper sleeve in front.

NOTES: Usaburo is the family business name. This pair was made by Usaburo Okamoto. He was the master and patriarch until he passed in 2009 at the age of 91.

The design is done burnt wood style.
