NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Fumio Tomidokoro

SIZE: 7" (17.8cm)

CONDITION: Tiny dent near her mouth. There are a number of vertical dent like marks but they appear to be natural wood flaws, under the paint.

NOTES: Mr. Tomidokoro was born in 1948 and is a multi-award winning artist.

The design is nicely detailed and done in burnt wood style. The obi has a carved design. She also has nice eyes.
