NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Toa Sekiguchi

SIZE: 4-1/4" (10.8cm), diameter 4-5/8" (11.9cm)

CONDITION: Few minor dents and scratches and a large ding at the top of her kimono on the right side. Couple of chips of paint in her hair at the start of her part on top. Light fading of her green kimono in spots.

NOTES: Mr. Sekiguchi was born in 1942 and is a multi award winning artist.

The outline design is done in burnt wood style. The kimono design is glitter-like paint. Hefty doll weighing over a pound. She's wider than she is tall.
