NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Toa Sekiguchi

SIZE: 4-3/16" (10.7cm), diameter 4" (10.3cm)

CONDITION: Few, mostly small dents and one large ding on the lower back. Paint has faded some in the front and the pink glitter paint has chipped along the bottom edge. Didn't notice it until she was turned over.

NOTES: Mr. Sekiguchi was born in 1942 and is a multi award winning artist.

The kimono outline, hair and eyes are done in burnt wood style. The kimono design has some glitter-like paint.
