Modern Japanese creative kokeshi by highly awarded artist, Masao Watanabe (1917-2007). The title of the doll is "Mushin" or "Innocence" and she measures 8" tall.

A very popular doll, she comes in different colors and sizes. To describe the unusual design, it looks and feels like stucco. There are little specs of sand like particles mixed with paste like material and applied to the doll.

Minor flaws include a dent on the top of the head, a very light scratch on the right eye and two longer scratches on the left side of the head.
