NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Tomio Ishida

SIZE: 7-1/4"

CONDITION: Couple of light dents on the head and a wider, very shallow dent near the bottom of the doll in the back. The bow is loose and needs to be glued. The bow also has stains that look like water marks. There are a few lighter spots on her sleeves and hair that may be water spots but there is no damage to the stain or finish.

NOTES: The wood is stained to achieve the lovely dark color. Her obi and kimono slit at the bottom are done in burnt wood style.

This is the largest I've ever seen this doll. She really looks good this size.
