NAME: Modern Kokeshi Nostalgia* by Noboru Yamanaka, with original cardboard case, published in 1978.
SIZE: 183 pages with color and black & white photos on pages 7 through 62.
CONDITION: The book looks to be in excellent condition. The paper jacket shows wear along the edges, on the spine and on the corners. The case is in good condition with a little discoloring from age. and a slight wrinkle in the front upper corner.
NOTES: *Very difficult to translate book titles and authors if you can't read Japanese. This was the name that most of the services translated.
Excellent examples of the modern creative dolls. Pages 79 to 120 has pictures of each of the artists and probably their history.
