Looking up, Vintage Kokeshi Dolls

Cute vintage set of four (4) wooden Japanese kokeshi boys looking skyward with their mouths open. Not sure if they are in awe of something or maybe singing but there is a paper attached to the bottom which may explain what they are doing. The tallest measures 2-5/8" and the shortest, 1-3/4". The stand measures 4-3/8" x 1-7/8. There is a date written on the bottom, 41.3.10, which translates to March 1, 1966. Little bit of age spotting and the tallest doll's paint is fading.

This set is part of a family collection of folk crafts from the 50's and 60's. The father traveled to all parts of Japan on business and would bring home souvenirs for the family.
