Lacquered Wood Japanese Box with Drawers

Japanese lacquered wood box with two drawers.The base measures 8-1/2" square and the overall height is 7-1/4". The depth of each drawer is 2-1/2". It's extremely high gloss and very reflective. Pictures do not show this as they were taken on an angle to keep the reflectiveness to a minimum.

In very good condition with no chips or cracks in the lacquer. There are some light normal use/wear scratches but they are not noticeable. The hardware (drawer pulls) are very decorative, reminiscent of the lovely hardware found on antique Japanese tansu. Comes in it's original corrugated/cardboard box with brochure (on top of box in the pictures). Gorgeous and useful piece.
