Lacquered Japanese Wooden Jewelry Box with Mirror

Small Japanese lacquered wood jewelry or dresser box with 2 drawers and a mirror. Has a kokeshi drawn on each drawer. It measures 9-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 10" tall. The hardware holding the mirror in place on the left side was missing a nail so the loose metal rubbed against the lacquer slightly damaging it (small cracks and chips). There is also lacquer damage on the left bottom edge. It is from the 1950's and has been in storage but if stored in a hot or heated, dry area, the lacquer will dry out and crack like this. The beveled glass mirror has some cloudiness which is also a result of aging. It was never used and is a nice nostalgia piece.
