NAME: Kijiyama traditional kokeshi
MAKER: Yuji Takahashi
SIZE: 12" (30.5cm)
CONDITION: Several dents on the face - above the left eye, on the forehead and two on the right chin. One on the chin is a little wider than "normal". Two areas on the lower head in the back with multiple dents where she probably kept falling and hitting the same spots. The hair has some of the whitish appearance from the aging finish. Some fading of the greens.
NOTES: Mr. Takahashi was born in 1934. This particular design was created by the Takahashi family.
Older doll which has darkened nicely with age. Classic Kijiyama.
