NAME: Japanese ema or prayer board with a tiger, representing the "Year of the Tiger".

SIZE: Height 3-1/4" (8.3cm) to the top point, 6" (15.3cm) at the longest point.

CONDITION: Both boards have water damage. The first board, picture 1 & 2 has damage on both sides of the face. The 2nd, picture 3, has damage on the paw and mid-body. If no preference is stated, the first board with the face damage will mail first.

NOTES: An ema board or prayer board is a method by which people make wishes, prayers or thanks to the dieties by writing it down on the board and hanging it at a shrine. The art work traditionally depicts the Zodiac animals, historic stories, folklore characters and stories, etc., but modern characters are also included now.
