NAME: Japanese ema or prayer board with folk crafts, a pigeon whistle and tamari ball.

SIZE: Height 3-7/16" (8.9cm) to the top point, 4-13/16" (12.3cm) at the longest point

CONDITION: Few dings and light scratches and some dents around the edges.

NOTES: An ema board or prayer board is a method by which people make wishes, prayers or thanks to the dieties by writing it down on the board and hanging it at a shrine. The art work traditionally depicts the Zodiac animals, historic stories, folklore characters and stories, etc., but modern characters are also included now.
