NAME: Hijiori/Togata traditional Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Sadao Kobayashi

SIZE: 8-1/2" (21.5cm)

CONDITION: Few light scratches

NOTES: Some kokeshi researchers classify the Bunroku lineage as Hijiori and others as Togatta.

Mr. Kobayashi was born on Jan. 30, 1933. There is a flower painted on the upper back.

Nice shape, lovely wood, great face!
