NAME: Hijiori traditional kokeshi

MAKER: Minosuke Sato

SIZE: 14-1/8" (36cm)

CONDITION: Remarkable condition, almost mint, considering she is at least 34 years old. Few medium sized dents on the back of the head which cannot be seen as it's so busy with grain lines. Few minor dents elsewhere.

NOTES: Mr. Sato passed in 1977 at the age of 72. His master was Shusuke Sato, said to be the originator of the Hijiori style.

As time goes on, his dolls get more scarce and pricier.
